The Lullaby Trust has launched Safer Sleep Week from March 14-20th 2016 #SaferSleepWeek.

The aim is to make sure all parents in the UK know the importance of safer sleep for their babies.

It so important to understand what safer sleep means and how aware we must be to reduce the chance of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome(SIDS).

Their website has all the information for you to learn the importance of safe sleep.

Five of my tips for Safe Sleep:

1. Put your baby to sleep on their back.
2. Avoid overheating your baby.
3. Put your baby to sleep in their own cot or Moses basket, in the room with you for the first few months.
4. Use a new, firm, well fitting mattress.
5. Keep your baby free from smoke during pregnancy and afterwards.

Keep your precious little one safe.
